The Big Widstok 2008: the
Cambusbarron public Park, 1pm 6pm even more music than last year! The line-up for Save Gillies Hills second Big Widstok free music festival on 26 July is nearing completion: already confirmed are: Konrad, whose CD Ancient Heart: the Gillies Hill Sessions is causing much positive comment amongst local music fans; Other critically welcomed bands are Final Throw, The Escapades, Bad Boogaloo, and The Lobsters - all giving their services free (and giving up engagements at prestigious venues throughout Scotland) for the Save Gillies Hill campaign. And last years last-minute favourites, Ryan n Charlie, will again be there.
The usual SGH welcome is extended to all music and Gillies Hill fans: help Save Gillies Hill by supporting this event in Cambusbarron Park on Saturday 26 july at 2pm. |
